Welcome to Chainsaw Art, the online portfolio of Arboriculturalist and chainsaw carver Jonny Stableford.

Based on Hopetoun estate near Edinburgh, full time tree surgeon and instructor Jonny, uses his professional skills to create unique chainsaw carvings from a single piece of wood.

Limited only by the size of the timber, Jonny can produce bespoke items for your individual needs be it a garden, business premises or public space.

Events

I am available to do carving demonstrations at public and private events in both wood and ice. For this I require only space to work as I provide all the safety equipment and materials required. Bear in mind chainsaws are very noisy and dusty, so consider this when planning your site.
